A weekly class for young boys aged 6-10 years old!
This all boys class aims to install a firm belief in Allah and understanding of the required basics of worship from a young age.
Taught by a male teacher, young boys have an example and good role model available to assist with any questions they may have about their Islam.

A weekly class for Muslim teen boys to develop into young men with a strong understanding of Islam.
The class focuses on providing a foundation of authentic Islamic knowledge along with nurturing a strong Islamic identity.
The class discusses Islam in a practical way allowing for open discussion for youth to discuss questions or misunderstandings they may have about Islam.
The curriculum used is:
“ Islamic Studies Book 1” by Sheikh Bilal Philips.

THE VILLAGE - MUSLIM HOME EDUCATION

The Islamic Centre of WA provides a home away from home for Muslim families that have chosen to utilise the option of Home Education over the traditional school system.
Come and join The Village Muslim Home Education Co-Op, a place for homeschooled children and mums to connect, share ideas, resources and provide group lessons & outings where needed.
The Village currently meets once a week on Tuesday afternoons for a weekly class built on team effort. Each parent is required to run an activity each term.
This class is ONLY for students aged 6 years and older, who are registered with the WA Department of Education as a registered Homeschooler. Younger siblings are welcome to attend.

Brothers can register in either:
Level 1 - Qaida Noraniya Beginner Quran classes for brothers starting from the Arabic alphabet. The Qaida Nouraniya system will be used which is very effective in teaching non-Arab speakers how to read the Quran This system is also beneficial for readers of the Quran who would like to improve their fluency and pronunciation
Level 2 -Tilawa: Reading from the Quran. Weekly classes for brothers to gain more fluency and understanding when reading the Quran - starting with Juz 30

This free class for sisters accepts new students throughout the year. It is never too late to start your Quran journey. Increase in your rewards!
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “The one who is skilled in reciting Qur’an will be with the noble, honourable scribes and the one who recites Qur’an and falters therein, and finds it difficult, will have a double reward.”Narrated by al-Bukhaari (4937) and Muslim (798).

Starts 16th May InshaAllah.
Sisters wanting to improve their fluency with reading the Quran are encouraged to join. The class introduces the basics of Tajweed rules.

الإلتحاق بالدورة:
١- التمكن من تلاوة القرآن الكريم بطلاقة (ولا يشترط الإتقان فى التجويد).
٢- الإلتزام والجدية
٣- قراءة وفهم اللغة العربية (ولا يشترط أن تكون الأصول عربية)
مميزات الإلتحاق بالدورة:
١- الإتقان فى تلاوة القرآن الكريم بالتجويد كما أنزل على رسولنا الكريم صلى الله عليه وسلم
٢- دراسة كتاب “حلية التلاوة” للدكتورة رحاب محمد مفيد شققى.
٣- حفظ منظومة الجزرية ودراسة شرحها والحصول على الإجازة فى المنظومة لمن تؤهل لذلك.
٤- حفظ أربعة أجزاء من القرآن الكريم مع دراسة للتفسير المختصر والتدبرات التى تعين على الحفظ.
٥- الحصول على شهادة معتمدة من مدرسة دار الهدى تؤهل للتدريس فى المدرسة.

1- Reading the Quran fluently (perfecting Tajweed is not required)
2- Serious commitment
3- Reading and understanding Arabic (not necessary to be of Arab origin)
