After a couple of months of break, the Gemstones & HOOD Junior youth groups are getting back together to host another monthly outing for ALL boys & girls aged 6 – 11years old. On Sunday 29th July is National Tree Day 2018 and we will be participating inshAllah.

We will be planting tree and helping with regenerating bushland areas. There will be prepared children’s activities to do and a halal sausage sizzle to finish off the day.

The Prophet (pubh) said: “If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift (sadaqah) for him.” (Bukhari)

We look forward to lots of digging, planting and watching our reward GROW GROW GROW!
